This is an ABC book; why do I call the review Time Travel? Readers are given the opportunity to discover the way humans have moved from place to place both in the past and present. I have read many of the books published by Mazor Publishing; this is definitely one of my favorites.

Not only does the author introduce modern transportation, but steps back into the past to present less familiar modes of travel like the ornithopter. Luckily, the author has an appendix in the back of the book that gives a short history of each method of transportation. Most children are interested in "things that go" so this is a very clever way to encourage learning the letters of the alphabet. The illustrations are done very well; they are multicultural and multiracial. Rhymes are catchy and short. The authors use alliteration in the children's names and the name of the mode of transportation is printed in large capital letters. Here is my favorite: "Strong Katy Koi, who eats spinach and liver, Helps Daddy paddle a KAYAK downriver." There are humorous touches as well. The naval sailor in the rhyme for Naval Ship looks a lot like Popeye.

The book is targeted for children age three through eight. Younger children will delight in the pictures and rhymes. Older children can read independently and enjoy investigating further using the history details at the end of the book. Even adults will learn a lot. I did not know that ice skates were originally made from the bones of animals and used to escape one's enemies! This book will be an asset to parents, teachers, libraries and anyone interested in transportation. Highly recommended for all!

Wonderful book
A fabulous ABC book with rich and colorful pictures, loved by young ones who can't get enough of this little education book. The mix of modes of transportation is bound to stimulate the imagination of both parents and children. Well recommended.
This book is amazing. I love the cute graphics and I believe its a very creative way to educate our kids on all the innovative ways in which we can travel. Good going guys!
The Mazor/Rosenberg series focussing on education to help raise children with morals and social awareness in a world that has trivialized good character and worthy deeds in favor of materialism and shallow ideals, is an important stalwart of the fiber that has brought all the goodness to healthy families, raising emotionally and psychologically mature and healthy children.Keep up the great work!
What a refreshing children's book. I have never seen anything like it. Written in the ABC format, each page teaches your child about a different form of transportation. I especially like that many of the modes of transportation are things that your child has probably never heard of, such as a gondola, or a British Lorry. There is even a special section at the end of the book which explains these things further. My 6 year old daughter especially liked that the name of the character on each page starts with the same letter as that mode of transportation.
With colorful illustrations, and sharp rhyming, this book will surely provide a most enjoyable reading experience for your child. He or she will learn a lot about the way the world moves! I hat to admit this, but even I learned some new information. What a gem of a book!
Your child will adore this book for so many reasons! The rhymes are adorable and entertaining. The brightly colored illustrations are beautiful and the book itself is educational. Whether you're reading about the airplane, or the zipline, you'll love every minute! You and your child will learn about all sorts of means of transportation, even the lesser-known ones, such as the X'trapolis! As a special added treat, you will become well-versed in facts on the inventors of the Blimp, for example. You will even find out why the camel has humps! Congratulations to Yael Rosenberg and Sarah Mazor for creating another irresistible book! I highly recommend this book. Every small child will adore it!
Review by author, Deanie Humphrys-Dunne
In this amazing book, Modes of Transportation ABC Book of Rhymes, the authors introduce us to different types of transportation, from the Kayak to the Lorry, from the Ornithopter to the Rickshaw, and from the Van to the Yacht, you will find them all in colorful illustrations.

My niece loves this one by Sarah Mazor and Yael Rosenberg of MazorBooks - her favorite page was Olivia Ogden, who has a secret desire to fly an ornithopter higher and higher.

In the back of the kindle edition there is a bit of history and trivia about each of the featured transportation apparatus. Did you know that after Charles the II of England used a yacht to travel from Holland to Britain, the yacht became the preferred mode of transportation for the rich and for the important people?

Get your copy today and teach your child about different types of transportation in a super fun way! Great job by these two authors!
